Charming local hotel
Casa Delfino is a genuine Venetian palace from the XVII century, located in the heart of the old town close to the old harbour. This old mansion, which has been recently restored, redefines in a unique way the wealth and refinement of times gone by. In our opinion, this is the best spot in Chania, located away from the busy town centre, in a narrow cobbled street, to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. The 22 rooms are all different, a subtle mix of luxury and intimacy, offering all modern comforts in a charming atmosphere which is in keeping with tradition. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, high-speed Internet connection, marbled bathroom, shower, (a spa bath for all 1-room suites), safe, mini-bar, hairdryer, satellite TV, music centre and DVD player. From the teak deckchairs on the terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of the sea, the harbour, the majestic White Mountains and the narrow streets of Chania’s old town. The ideal setting and location!
Good value for money
This small family hotel has been set up in an old residence and tastefully restored in a Venetian style. The woody colours of the decor and the inconspicuous yet on-hand staff make for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The 8 rooms are all decorated differently, featuring wood and stone. The names of the rooms alone will make your mind drift: Chanea, Belmondo, Da Vinci, Geo, Michelangelo, Rafaello, Venecia, Bell Epoque. All the rooms are equipped with a bathroom and shower, air conditioning, satellite TV and a refrigerator.

Our advices for this travel in Chania:
In Chania, wandering from street to street is the best way to enjoy the ambience of the city. You can admire the Küçük Hasan mosque and walk along the dyke to the lighthouse.
When it comes to experiencing the local culture, no better place for you than the covered market!
Interested in culture? We recommand the archeology museum which is located within a former Venetian church. In the west end of the island, Chryssoskalitissa monastery is unbelievable.
If you prefer spending time in nature, here again you are in the right place! The Samaria gorge, the Elafonissi, Balos and Falassarna beaches, the Gramvousa Peninsula... So many areas to visit.
